I am sitting at my computer on our first night in Vegas for CONEXPO 2011 - ready to setup the booth tomorrow. Here are a few photos I took today from walking around the show...
Couple of reactions from walking around today... Seems the Sany is trying to make a real impact here with probably the largest booth at the show. They built an entire 2-story building in their booth space. They are showing every machine known to man!
Crane companies have some new customers - companies like Bigge, All, Dielco, Digging and Rigging, etc. all have their names on cranes here. Many new crane company names too - ones I have not seen before. The Gold Lot is great to walk around in with Liebherr, Manitowoc, Terex, Link Belt, Kobelco and Tadano all showing fairly large cranes. High winds kept the booms moving around quite a bit and we got a little rain while walking today.
Show is always suprisingly large. Not sure why I keep forgetting this every time I get here. My feet hurt already and we only saw about 1/4 of what is here. Never even walked the main South Hall yet.
Our booth is in the North Hallway - outside of where Case, Cat, John Deere and Volvo are located. Seems like a great location. Hope to see many of our customers starting Tuesday.
