Just a couple notes from Nurnberg Germany. Getting ready for the Toyfair to open tomorrow. All setup in my hotel and making plans on who to visit first. Hope to have pics up tomorrow evening if I do what I say I am going to do!
Just FYI - both Turtle trucks have sold! They were sold in approximately 14 hours. There is a very happy collector out there now!

Hello all,
A couple of interesting models have come across my desk this week as I prepare to go to Toyfair.
For those of you in the know, Turtle Models is an artisan like no other. This guy's brass skills are unbeatable! He works at another job for 1/2 of the year and for the next couple months he will be offering some masterpieces right here at DHS! Each creation is one-of-a-kind, never to be duplicated. And every minute detail is included.
Here are some pics of his latest creations.
The interesting thing is, if you want to purchase (and you have to REALLY want these based on the price you have to pay), these two one-of-a-kind awesome creations are available to purchase! Call the office or email me if you are interested!

Hello all DHS Fans...
I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your support over the past year. Please realize that we really do appreciate your business and hope we can continue to improve and move forward in the coming years.
You all have many different places to purchase your diecast construction models. We realize we are not always the least expensive alternative. But hopefully you see that we provide a level of support that you just cannot get somewhere else. We are dedicated to this hobby and feel that, with 13 years of experience, we understand the hobby. I can tell you that our staff is the most knowledgeable that you will find as many have been with us over many years and have learned the business from the ground up.
We have a full staff and 12,000 square feet filled with models here at DHS, which means we have some overhead to cover. But we always do our best to satisfy you, the customer, at every chance we get!
Before I get all teary-eyed, please have a wonderful holiday season and we wish the best to you and your families!
We are looking forward to a great 2013! We have lots of surprises in store for you, so make sure you check back with us often in the year as we kickoff some new and exciting ideas!

Check out what we received in the warehouse today! If you come to our Fall Auction on November 3rd, you can see these items "in person" next to the 1/4 scale Dozer! In case you are not keeping up with our forum, these are Don Campbell Models. The Komatsu model is 1:12 Scale and the Mack Truck/Trailer is 1:4 Scale. The Cat 390 Excavator is 1:8 Scale.
